"Shepherd's Heart for the Family" at the Archdiocese of Omaha, NE

The Archdiocese of Omaha, Nebraska has commissioned The St. John Paul II Foundation to offer a 2-year cycle of our Shepherd's Heart initiative. The ongoing education and formation program will be offered to the permanent deacons and their wives.

The topic for this formation day is “Addressing the Modern Plague: Protecting and Healing Families from Pornography”. Pornography has become a modern plague, harming families as youth and parents alike fall prey to its seduction. What do we need to know about addiction and healing, and how can the clergy and parish help families combat pornography and receive healing from its destructive effects? What are the key themes emphasized by the Bishops of the United States in the forthcoming document on pornography?
